A standard size full bath with custom crown molding transitioning into an arch above the bath doors with a stone inlay carried from the border tile. Door trim and window trim custom milled to match the trim in the rest of the house. A matching open wall cabinet made with the same top trim.
White fixtures stand out against a dark green floor, with a pedestal sink keeping the
space feeling more open. A built in floor to ceiling cabinet with glass doors and
cabinet lights provides good storage for toiletries, while the door below fits a hamper
good for a family of five.
Pin spot recess lights in the shower and wall sconces used instead of the typical over the mirror lights add a warm feeling. The exhaust fan is only 1.5 sconces drawing 190 cfm's, so we hooked into the light circuit to insure good air circulation whenever the lights are on.
Tile: 12 x 12 Emerald green with 6 x 6 standard beige. The stone border we picked up at Morris Tile in Bladensburg. Take a look at how we turned up the floor tile into a small baseboard. This not only accents the floor but is very practical; always looking clean in the hard to clean corners.
